DIAGNOSTICS - COMPARATIVE TESTS ON FERROCONCRETE

AREA - FERROCONCRETE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS

APPLICATION TECHNIQUE
Serie of non destructive and partially destructive , tests and checks on a limited ferroconcrete area to obtain a check up of both iron frame and concrete.
The sequence consists in a visual critic survey, a Magnetometric survey on iron frame, an oxidation potential Measure, an ultrasonic analysis, an extractive "pull out" test and a carbonation depth millimetric measure.

RELATED DIAGNOSTICS
- Squashing test (on logged sample)
- Concrete chemical analysis
- Corrosion potential measure
- Iron sample traction test
- Gammagraphy

OBTAINABLE RESULTS
- Examined zones referring diagnostics form showing each test and process result.

DETECTABLE DATA
- Structure charachterization depending on concrete omogeneity and resistance and on frame presence and geometry.
- US speed and sclerometric index comparation makes it possible to collect Rck values using the higly reliable SONREB method. These values are then corrected using extractive "pull out" test data.

SURVEY
- Structure accessibility and stability
- Dimensional charachteristics
- Cartographic and historical
- Documentation

COSTS
Each test  260,00 - 362,00 cad.

Non destructive ferroconcrete tests with sampling on 1mq structure surfaces, including the following analysis and tests:
- preliminary geometric analysis;
- magnetometric check of the frame and iron cover thickness (following UNI7062 rule standards);
- extractive "pull out" tests (following UNI7997 and ASTM c900 rules standards);
- jet ultrasonic prospecting to evaluate defects and mecanical charachteristics (following UNI8555,9094 and ASTM c900 rules standards);
- sclerometric index measure (following UNI7997,9189 and ASTM c805 rules standards);
- carbonation depth and spontaneous oxidation potential measure (following UNI8981 rule standards).
